![]() Furthermore, the device does not have any official water resistance rating, but the phone is protected to withstand a bit of water splash and dust. You lose some, you gain some - while the Nord CE misses out on the alert slider, the 3.5mm headphone jack makes a comeback which might make you happy. But, we did miss out on this feature during our usage time. OnePlus said that it wants to give the trademark OnePlus features such as the alert slider to its more premium OnePlus devices. The OnePlus Nord CE offers a great in-hand feel For those who are unaware, the alert slider is a quick hardware key that's on most OnePlus phones on the side, that switches between silent, vibrate, and ring modes. The OnePlus Nord CE joins the N series here by omitting the iconic feature that has been one of the standout features since the OnePlus 2. The major feature that the device misses out on comes in the form of an alert slider. For what it's worth, OnePlus is also offering a free silicone case in the box, which is very similar to the one we got with the original Nord with a pattern. The phone isn't slippery either, so unless you have butterfingers, you should be safe. While it might not be as compact as the Asus 8Z, the OnePlus Nord CE will be a welcome change for those who are coming from bulkier phones. The sides have a purplish tint and the back panel changes its color between blue and green spectrum as the light falls on it. The Blue Void variant feels like a mix of a green and blue color and it also reminds us of the Glacial Green variant of the OnePlus 8 from 2020. Also gone is the glossy back, which has been replaced by this fine-looking matte finish. It doesn’t have the Gorilla Glass protection on the back like the OnePlus Nord. It is made up of composite material along with an aluminium frame running around the phone. We are using the Blue Void variant here for our review. The OnePlus Nord CE is available in three colorways - Blue Void, Charcoal Black and Silver Ray. No, we don’t mean that’s cheap, but this is something OnePlus had to bring in to keep the cost this low. The design of the OnePlus Nord CE tells you half the story of its pricing. Blue Void, Charcoal Black and Silver Ray colours. It has a starting price tag of Rs 22,999 for the 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage model, which is exclusive to those who live in India. OnePlus doesn’t seem to be intending for this phone to come to the US, and OnePlus phones aren’t available in Australia either. The OnePlus Nord CE was announced in June 2021, and it's on sale now in Europe (including the UK) and India. The OnePlus Nord CE might not be the best smartphone under Rs 30,000 / £400, but it is the easiest one to recommend to most users, thanks to an enjoyable overall experience and far fewer cons to be mindful of. ![]() Warp Charging is also present, taking the phone from zero to 65% in just about 30 minutes. What managed to surprise us was the battery life - a large battery paired with an efficient chipset make the Nord CE a champ in this regard. The cameras continue to be about average, as was the trend with older OnePlus devices, but they should suffice enthusiasts. And even with that petite form factor, it manages to bring back the 3.5mm headphone jack. However, those decisions do make the phone quite comfortable to hold as it’s much lighter and thinner than others. There’s no Gorilla Glass protection on the display and even the back is made of polycarbonate material. Of course, it isn’t a perfect phone, and OnePlus had to cut a few corners to achieve this price tag. ![]()

August 7, 2020.1.17 and Vivecraft after 5 years July 4, 2021.Log4j security and 1.18 December 10, 2021.Update on 1.19 and mod support July 4, 2022.1.19 beta builds are available on Patreon July 18, 2022.The good news is 1.16 Vivecraft is based on the Forge-capable 1.15 beta, and by all accounts it works fairly well, so 1.16 should launch with Forge support already. The plan according to the OF folks is to get 1.16 out, then go back and polish and release 1.15. These builds are a little out of date but I’ve been waiting on a full release of Optifine for 1.15 before doing another update. Support for Forge mods has actually been available on 1.15 by heading to the Vivecraft discord and downloading the beta builds. I would guess that 1.16.2 will drop in that time frame, possibly setting things back a bit as the build chain is updated, but I don’t expect any major road-bumps. I’ve started on 1.16 already and would expect preview builds out sometime this week. The Optifine preview for 1.16.1 came out much, much quicker than previous versions, meaning not only that we can get to work on Vivecraft, but also that the internals of 1.16 are not so different from 1.15 to cause a headache updating. I can actually answer that and the answer is ‘very soon’. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I know it's free, but I'd happily pay $30 for a solid working version. With all other apps closed, the screen still lags when redrawing, presents digital artifacts on the screen, crashes when I zoom in or out too fast, etc. It always worked, always connected.īase camp seems really buggy lately, more so than usual. It also has to be plugged in to the Mac directly, not into a USB hub. If I disconnect all other USB devices, and set my Mac to boot from the first partition and not mount any more volumes, I can get the Zumo to connect to Basecamp and transfer to/from the device. I also have two external drives, one for Media and one for backup. I have two SSD drives in my Mac and one is partitioned into two areas, so when booted it appears that I have three hard drives. Problem solved for me by first clean booting my machine as suggest by Microsoft this addressed the freezing when re loading Garmin Basecamp, then after. The Zumo has to be the second or third mounted device. After spending 6 hours trying to load a simple route on to the Zumo, I have a few observations. Would anyone be able to provide a sequence for that? Again, I've followed the steps in Basecamp. After getting customised to the 64 model, BaseCamp and adjusting the settings to my preference I still have one issue. I just upgraded my handheld gps to a Garmin GPSmap 64 from a GPSmap 60CS. It says "complete", but the gpx file doesn't show up on the XT. Help with Garmin GPS64, tracks not showing on map screen. I follow the transfer process in Basecamp. It shows up in the Android app that I downloaded, it shows up on My Collections in Basecamp, but does not show up on the XT no matter how many times I restart and go through the transfer process. For older units it will have to rebuild the entire map. For newer GPS units (Garmin Colorado and newer including Dakota, Oregon, Montana, and 62 series) the program will allow you to manage maps very easily/quickly. Then it sounds like the download is corrupted. When loading maps onto your GPS Garmin BaseCamp is the preferred program. So in other words, the file is detected in Basecamp, but its not accepted for usage. Then I created another route on Ridewithgps for a practice transfer. ![]() ![]() Now there are some differences in the accounts of the resurrection. So for the New Testament, the resurrection of Jesus is his rising and mastery over death moving into an eschatological form of life and is appearing then to the disciples. Because if it did take place, how would you ever know? E. But the resurrection of Jesus from the dead into an eschatological form of life is also not what the new testament means by the resurrection. Eschatological form of life?Īnd there is a sense in which the new testament talks about the end of the ages have come through the resurrection of Jesus Chris because that marks the change to the new age. It is the moving over, a transfer, into eternity. A form of life in which death, disease, sorrow, pain, no longer is part of the experience. And, h I don't know a better word to use than the word "eschatological." It is rising to an eschatological form of life. It is, rather, a resurrection to a new form of life. The resurrection is not resuscitation to life. Jairus' daughter and the son of the widow of Nain. There are in the gospels three other people who are resuscitated from death: Lazarus, who else? C. Now, we don't want to, thirdly, define the resurrection as Jesus coming back to life again. In fact, they inclined towards another view: Someone stole the body. And, h when we think about how the first reaction to the empty tomb, as we realize, that, they just thought there could be another reason for the tomb being empty, other than the resurrection. The empty tomb is, once again, a result of the resurrection, but it isn't the resurrection. We also don't want to confuse the resurrection with the empty tomb. We don't want to confuse then the resurrection with the rise of faith in the disciples. Of course, if you have a bias against the supernatural then the last piece of historical evidence you can get to is the rise in the faith of the disciples. The rise of faith is the effect of the resurrection. Well, there was a rise in faith in the disciples, but to interpret that as the resurrection is to confuse the effect and the cause. The rise of faith in the disciples?įor instance, Rudolf Bultmann talks about the resurrection, and what he means by that is the rise in faith in the disciples. ![]() And yet when we talk about the word "resurrection," the term resurrection is far from a self evident word. It is the sine qua non, that without which there would be no Christian faith. There is no Christianity without the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Without the resurrection, we would not be here. We're not a Bach memorial society who come to celebrate his great music, or a Jesus society in the sense of celebrating a great man who died, unfortunately, a terrible death. We want to talk today about the resurrection of Jesus for the Christian faith is not a society who of people remember a dead hero. ![]() ![]() ![]() Homophonic music is the most natural texture in Western music and easily recognizable even by the layman. However, it will be clear that these accompaniments exist to fill in the melody rather than serve as melodies themselves. In some well-written homophonic musical pieces, the accompanying parts may still have a melodic interest, meaning that they are interesting to listen to on their own. The other parts that make up this type of music are used to fill in the chords or serve as the accompaniment. ![]() Homophonic music has one clear melodic line, which is generally easily discernible. This article will take an in-depth look at what constitutes the difference between these textures and where they are most prevalent. Homophony is the most common texture in Western music and, when in one single rhythm, can also be referred to as homorhythmic. In contrast, polyphony refers to a piece of music consisting of a mix of melodies, each separate and independent, yet in harmony with the rest. Sadly, Stories: The Path of Destinies is a really interesting concept with middling execution. I just went as fast as I could to the end of the level - not as some sort of challenge, but to rid myself of the burden of the gameplay. The detours had nothing to offer except restorative items I didn't need.
